THE ATELIER · 04

A 600-year-old craft,
practised by hand.

Cloisonné — known in Mandarin as jingtailan — is one of China's eight imperial crafts and a UNESCO-recognised intangible heritage. Each work begins with a copper body, is drawn in copper wire, fired six to eight times with vitreous enamel, polished by hand, and gilded.

Linghua's atelier brings this tradition into contemporary visual language — author-signed, limited-edition, certified, archived.
